How I Got Here

Nadia Ramo graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2016 with a Master’s in Chinese Medicine. She has been licensed since May of 2017 and has been practicing out of San Diego and Los Angeles, California. In 2012 Nadia completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh India under the Yogi Master Vishvaketu. In 2014 Nadia finished the Massage program at Pacific College and started working as a Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor during her time pursuing the Master’s program.

After receiving her Acupuncture License, Nadia was exposed to and diligently studied Reiki. Within two years she completed her Reiki Master-Teacher certification in 2018. Nadia’s undergrad was at UC Berkeley where she took multiple pre-medicine science classes fascinated with the human body.  Her education in both the East and West modalities rendered a beautiful comprehension of modern and ancient sciences.

From Western medical knowledge to Yoga, Reiki, Massage, and Acupuncture, Nadia has a colorful understanding of the human body, energetics, emotions, and the root of imbalances. She has studied more skillful approaches of Acupuncture and Herbology with teachers such as Sensei Funamizu, Kiko Matsumoto, and Jeffrey Yuen, among a community of Mycologist to deepen her approach to using Mushrooms as a powerful healing tool.

Nadia’s style in practice is an integration of all her educational background. She honors the poetic and artistic approach of classical Chinese Medicine by creatively designing her treatments to be unique for each person, how they are showing up in that moment, taking note of the season, time of day, and the spirit revealed in each individual. All these elemenets, among a thorough intake, meridian palpation, pulse, tongue, postural, and abdominal evaluation guide Nadia's treatments to unfold as a unique and authentic experience every visit.

Healing Starts With a single Open Heart ready for change in the legacy of eternity.

As a woman carrying the ancient arts of Medicine in our modern world I find it crucial to have both feet grounded in the wisdom of centuries past and the modern wisdom of biophysics and quantum mechanics. Modalities in which have threaded through from thousands of years until now speak to me. As an Acupuncturist, Herbologist, Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Reiki Master I embody the modern niche of “Integrative Medicine” to flow through me in these present times of Information, Science, and Ancestral Resurrection.

I see the Fascia in our body as the “mystics” of our tissues- crystalline formations which transduct emotions and physical touch systematically affecting the entire body. As the fascia winds around the muscles, bones and organs I remember our bones hold us upright as we place bones of the deceased on the altar to remember where we came from. Our organs are the keepers and generators of emotion flowering open into a profound mass that regulates the entire internal system of human life and behavior.

I stay grounded through my practices: yoga, Qi Gong, & meditation. I am eager to shine the light inside our caverns of pathology and suffering, to emerge the lessons, healing, and growth every imbalance is an opportunity for.

Whether you want Massage, Reiki, or Acupuncture (or all 3!) for your healing assimilation I am here to structurally re-guide you into your body, emotionally balance you into peace, and spiritually empower you into alignment with your highest self.
